Invitation to Team Hope Launch

Why this?

Team Hope (Brighton) CIC is a newly incorporated social enterprise (CIC) limited by Guarantee to act as a sustained source of income for Off The Fence Trust.

Unique designs donated by and from leading artists and designers in Brighton & Hove will be be used to create 500 strictly limited batch t-shirts, numbered with certificates of authenticity signed by designers. £10 of each £35 purchase will go directly to OTF. In order to streamline delivery and accounting, we are using the Stanley/Stella e-commerce and automated drop-ship platform.

Team Hope is launching on September 8th at the Brighton Leonardo Royal Waterfront Hotel.

A talented team of designers, video production team, photographer, website and e-commerce specialists are working with us. The Board has former Telefonica UK Boss Martin Hess as Chair, Acumen Law Director Dan Richards, Custom Credit MD Damien Burke along with Social Enterprise entrepreneur Graham Mason. Roy Stannard (CEO) and Sarah Melvin (Co. Secretary) represent Off The Fence on the Board.

Albion legend and current Chelsea coach, Bruno Saltor is a Patron of the charity and his partner Raquel Seliva (Valencia shirt designer and producer) is a co-creator of the brand and heads up the Creative Team. Artist Ali Lapper is providing a design and is one of the models. Eight designers and artists from the City have already donated designs with six designs available to purchase on the website’s retail platform on the evening.

Why Now?

Share the mission of Off The Fence to repair and re-boot the lives of the less advantaged in Brighton & Hove. You are warmly invited to join Her Worship the Mayor, Cllr Jackie O’Quinn, Mayor of Brighton & Hove along with our Patron Peter Kyle MP. The evening will feature an alternative catwalk, underpinned by diversity (ability, age, gender, size) throughout the model line-up, entertainment from 13 year old homeless campaigner and singer songwriter Scarlett Chapman, talks from the designers about what inspired their designs, speeches from the brand creators

– and an adjacent bar will be open throughout.

Parking is available in the Lanes Car Park underneath the hotel.
