A hidden gem in the busy streets of Brighton.
Food was good, staff were friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble.
If I lived in Brighton I'd be here every week.
Next time I'm nearby I'll definitely pop in again for breakfast.

An irritating issue I have found myself in in Brighton was to find a cafe providing a delicious breakfast for good value. Well Lizzie's Cafe has resolved this issue for me. Their breakfasts are delicious and freshly cooked with a very reasonable price. Their breakfasts are full of vibrant flavours and they serve your toast a few minutes before your breakfast so you are not left starving for too long. The atmosphere is cosy and wholesome which adds to your experience. Highly recommend for anyone who has been lacking a breakfast cafe in their local area!

I've been visiting this part of Brighton for more than 10 years since our daughter moved here and we visit as much as we can. A cooked breakfast at least once per trip just had to be done and I've been all over the city and trawled reviews looking for the perfect place but never found it - until now.
This is far and away the nearest place but for some reason it just hadn't registered before and as it hadn't shown up on review sites, or not prominently, I overlooked it.
Good fresh ingredients, complete honesty in the sourcing and cooking and pretty much everything just right. Fresh griddled mushrooms and tomatoes, seriously good bubble & squeak and a strong coffee shot with a jug of hot water so you can have it as strong as you like.
Prepared and served by people who care - I don't understand the poor reviews but am glad those miserable people weren't there when we visited.

The cafe is in an unlikely place amongst residential houses and parallel to the Lewes Road which has shops; pubs and cafes.
I have not been overly impressed by the couple of cafes I have frequented on the Lewes Road so visited here for a change.
Lovely welcome. Seats inside and out; varied menu and cheaper than pub prices. I will go back here for the occasional work lunch as the experience was pleasant
