I have gained a lot of knowledge and self confidence in oil painting during his tuition. He is an excellent art teacher with lot of patience, kind and friendly approach, very professional and knowledgeable in oil painting techniques. Every art lesson is a pleasure. Sonny is the most amazing teacher of art. I thought I would just dabble at it and have a few lessons but he has enabled me to surpass any and all of my expectations in a very short time. His teaching skills, patience and his own talent are extraordinary. Totally recommend Sonny if you want to start from scratch or improve specific skills.

I have started private painting lessons with Sonny for the last 5 years. I started with very little skills and experience but a lot of enthusiasm and passion.
I learned a lot from Sonny and he was flexible enough to follow my preference and style of learning which is ‘on the job’ paintings!
I have gone such a long way. I have many lovely paintings in my home and made quite a few for family and friends. I also got my first commission recently which I just completed.
I learned a lot about colours, technique using acrylic to start with and switching onto oils.
Even with a busy life and job I was still able to progress and have a tailored approach and lots of fun.
Sonny is very personable, gentle and patient. I would highly recommend him if you are considering private tutoring.

Mr Williams helped me a lot with my paintings and fine art application. I had a great time in his lessons learning the basics of oil painting and discovering the theme I want to have in my artwork. And it’s thanks to Mr Williams I got the offer from my dream school.
